wE MAKE FANTASY FUNCTIONAL.

Long ago, there was a young boy, no older than 8 or 9. This child saw a sword, a staff, an axe, or a knife in quite literally anything he held. When venturing to the Home Depot with his father, his first order of business was to always hunt down the dowels. They were his tools of the trade. When evil came knocking, this Boy King was ready. With trusty wooden sword in hand, he felled many a foe, and got kicked out of a Home Depot once. Mind you, this was because he grabbed an electric polesaw and screamed “FOR THE GOD EMPEROR!” But that’s a story for another time. 
 

This boy would grow up to become a nerdy goofball who loved all things science fiction and fantasy. Encouraged by his parents he decided it was time to live his childhood dream of becoming a knife and sword designer for would-be dragonslayers everywhere. And thus, CARNIVORA TOOLS was born.  
 

CARNIVORA takes the beauty of fantasy and fine tunes it until its function is as potent as its looks. While it might sound counterintuitive, since we work backwards from how most do, it’s the challenge of modernizing something out of a video game or movie into something usable by the average person that CARNIVORA is all about. It is a sandbox for designers and makers across the world to push the limits of what “functional” means.
